DAVOS™ One system. Infinite opportunities.

Feb 3, 2012

Acclaimed designer Andre Staffelbach has conceived a furniture collection that not only responds to the needs of today’s evolving workplace, but prepares it for longevity. Manufactured by Nienkåmper, the Davos™ Collection allows effortless reconfiguration with a seemingly infinite array of possibilities. The collection is designed to transition seamlessly from private offices to open plan, conferencing and collaborative spaces. Compared to the cost and restrictions of traditional office walls, Davos™ offers affordable, innovative and seemingly infinite opportunities with one system.

Born in Chur, Switzerland, Staffelbach worked in Europe with one of Zurich’s leading interior design firms before moving to the United States in 1962. An International Interior Design Hall of Fame inductee, Andre Staffelbach, FIIDA founded the internationally recognized architecture and design firm, STAFFELBACH, in Dallas in 1966. Since 1986 the firm has consistently been listed as one of the top 100 firms in the United States, creating and transforming more than 65 million square feet of space for commercial clients such as American Airlines, McAfee and Carlson Capital.

Staffelbach has designed a freestanding desk system that delivers a world of classic, functional and affordable opportunities to the corporate environment using his knowledge and insight that spans five decades. This is currently the only furniture system that offers corporations unparalleled flexibility in designing their workspace.

DAVOS-2Backed with fabric panels that provide a fully tackable, sound-absorbing surface, Davos™ can also be configured to provide varying levels of privacy, maximizing space use and minimizing costs. Freestanding nesting tables and storage cabinets on casters integrate seamlessly to create semi-private workstations that can be pulled apart quickly and easily transformed into a meeting table or small conference area for impromptu and collaborative meetings.

Davos™ is manufactured using clean technologies. It was recently recognized with an IIDEX NeoCon/Canada award for furniture innovation. The collection is generating substantial interest in Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
