ANDRE STAFFELBACH RECEIVES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT NEOCON

Andre Staffelbach, founder of the 48-yr-old Dallas-based interior design and architecture firm Staffelbach, has been recognized by Interior Design as the first recipient of the HIP (Honoring Industry People) Design Leader: Lifetime Achievement award, given in recognition of a visionary who has made a profound impact and long-term contribution to the practice of design.
The award was given during NeoCon 2014, North America’s largest design exhibition and conference for commercial interiors. The HIP awards initiative honors commercial industry pioneers and achievement in design solutions and product applications.
Staffelbach, born in Chur, Switzerland, gained experience in Europe with one of Zurich’s leading interior design firms before moving to the United States in 1962. Andre was inducted in the International Interior Design Hall of Fame in 1988, is a Fellow member and served as National President of International Interior Design Association/IIDA, National President of National Council for Interior Design Qualification/NCIDQ and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers/ASID. He is also a recipient of ASID’s highest National professional honor, the Designer of Distinction designation.
